Not really. Loadix is programmed according to specific trajectories, points of interest, and a charging point. Moving it to a new environment would require a complete reprogramming to be compatible with the new location.

Farmyard accounting

Once installed, can silos, other storage sites, and/or paths be modified?

Yes, but you will need a ManuRob technician to make any changes.

My farm already has a Wi-Fi network; do I still need to reinstall one?

Yes, Loadix operates on a local Wi-Fi network that is separate from the internet. This network allows only your PC server, phone, and Loadix to communicate.

I already have GPS points from a surveyor; do they need to redo them?

If you have an accurate map of your operation, a surveyor’s visit will not be necessary. However, if you do not have enough GPS points, the surveyor will need to revisit to complete the existing points.

How many points of interest can I define?

You can define as many points of interest as you want.

Are there any additional costs or investments to consider?

If not already installed in the farm office, you will need to set up the electrical wiring to the Wi-Fi relays (provided) and to the central PC (provided). If necessary, you can install automatic opening devices for gates and doors. Additionally, you will need to bring three-phase wiring to the charging station and install the charger (provided).

How long does it take to install Loadix?

Installation takes approximately 6 days on-site.

What is the installation process for Loadix ?

A team of ManuRob engineers will program Loadix to operate in the specific environment of your farm. Additional tasks such as connecting Loadix to a biogas server or automatic gates will also be carried out if necessary. After some final adjustments, Loadix will be ready to work autonomously and will receive its instructions either via the central PC or through an app on your smartphone.

My farm-yard is not paved; is that a problem?

No, Loadix only requires a stabilized surface. It does not need paved surfaces or rails.

Can Loadix drive on a muddy and slippery track?

As with the previous question, you won’t be sending Loadix over the same muddy path multiple times a day or year. However, if a tractor has recently crossed the yard and left mud on the ground, Loadix should be able to traverse it without difficulty.

Can Loadix handle potholes?

Theoretically yes, but since Loadix typically follows the same paths, it is not practical to let Loadix cross the same pothole day after day. It’s not a problem if it takes a few days to repair the pothole. Loadix can cross a pothole 10 cm deep at full speed (7.2 km/h).

My land is sloped; is that a problem ?

Loadix operates on slopes up to 30%. It can also manage small steps if necessary.

I have a door or gate to open; is that a problem for Loadix ?

No, during installation, the team of technicians can automate doors and gates in contact with Loadix to ensure the robot remains autonomous.

What factors prevent the installation of a Loadix ?

Public roads or hiking trails near the Loadix work area automatically exclude automation. A yard divided by a public road will not be able to use a Loadix unless the work area is limited to one side and kept away from the road. More generally, any area with potential public passage is unsuitable.

Use

There is no connection between the internet and Loadix, except for RTK correction if it has been chosen as an online connection. If the internet is not working or if bandwidth is low, it will have no effect on Loadix.

There is no connection between the internet and Loadix, except for RTK correction if it has been chosen as an online connection. If the internet is not working or if bandwidth is low, it will have no effect on Loadix.

Is the central server (PC) accessible remotely?

No, unless you choose to grant ManuRob access to certain data, such as for preventive maintenance.

Can Loadix be used to tow a machine or a trailer?

Currently, this is not possible.

Can Loadix be integrated into a biogas management system?

Loadix can be connected to certain biogas management systems.

Will Loadix get lost if I remove material from a silo it normally works with?

No, there is no issue. The robot sees the material in front of it, so it won’t get lost if you handle material from the pile it was working with.

Can I leave Loadix running on my farm while I’m away?

Yes, you don’t need to supervise it constantly, so you can leave. If there is a problem, Loadix will stop working and alert you.

Can Loadix learn new tasks?

Yes and no. Loadix won’t learn new tasks on its own. However, robotic engineers can program Loadix to perform new tasks when the necessary expertise is available and regulations permit.

Can I use Loadix manually?
